Cristal Marie Pulgini Joins MLMR:

as Associate Producer and Cast Member!

Cristal Pulgini The cast of MLMR continues to grow with multidimensional talent, and we’re proud to announce that Cristal Marie Pulgini has officially joined the team both in front of the camera and behind the scenes as an Associate Producer.

Cristal’s unique blend of marketing savvy, acting chops, and personal resilience makes her a perfect fit for our improv-driven series rooted in real life, business, and ambition. As with all cast members, Cristal will play a heightened version of herself, blending truth and fiction in a way that’s funny, raw, and deeply human.

From Setbacks to Spotlight

Cristal’s entertainment journey started in the mid-2000s with roles in sci-fi films like 9th Circle and the audio series Monster Genocide. Her presence in both indie film and print modeling gave her a foothold in an industry she clearly had the drive to conquer.

But in 2007, life took a turn.

Cristal was the victim of a near-fatal hit-and-run accident caused by a known drug lord from Maryland. She endured multiple reconstructive surgeries and years of physical and emotional recovery. During that time, she leaned heavily on her background in wellness, as a master-certified personal trainer and yoga instructor, to rebuild not just her body, but also her confidence and career.

That lived experience won’t be left behind. MLMR will draw from those chapters of Cristal’s life, with fictional storylines inspired by trauma, reinvention, and the resilience it takes to return to the spotlight. We’re not telling her real-life story, but we’re letting pieces of it shine through.

In addition to those themes, Cristal’s on-screen persona will also reflect her connection to wellness and mindfulness. Her real-life experience as a master-certified personal trainer and yoga instructor will make its way into the series in both subtle and unexpected ways, whether it’s a spontaneous stretch session to calm down chaos or a grounding presence in high-stress business moments.

Wellness, Resilience and Real Life

Cristal used her certification as a master personal trainer and yoga instructor to support her own healing process. Wellness became more than a practice, it became part of her identity. This side of her life will directly inform scenes in the series, where viewers may see her guiding castmates through yoga, meditative practices, or using mindfulness to reset during intense moments. Whether it’s a lighthearted group wellness session or a dramatic character breakthrough, Cristal’s storylines will spotlight healing and balance.

A Marketing Mind with a Creative Twist

Outside the entertainment world, Cristal made major strides as a Marketing Director and Customer Service Manager at a multi-million-dollar veterinary hospital. Leadership, branding, strategy, it’s all part of her toolkit.

In the series, her character will reflect those qualities, with storylines rooted in the business and marketing world, sometimes grounded, sometimes chaotic, and always unpredictable. Whether leading a Zoom call gone off the rails or mentoring an intern who doesn’t “get it,” Cristal’s on-screen moments will blend truth with satire, industry smarts with human messiness.

Expanding the Universe

Cristal is based in Wilmington, Delaware, and much of her storyline will be filmed in and around the area, giving the series a natural extension beyond its New England roots. Expect crossover episodes, virtual meetups, and evolving plotlines that connect her life to the broader cast, allowing the fictional world to expand geographically and emotionally.

The Realness Behind the Role

Cristal isn’t just acting. She’s living a version of herself. She’ll appear as “Self” in all credits, just like the rest of our ensemble cast. What makes this series different is how we let people bring their reality into the room, then reshape it, stretch it, and spin it into something fresh and unexpected.

From her work as a Best Supporting Actress nominee in The Holiday Shuffle to her current work as a UGC creator and brand ambassador, Cristal brings range, professionalism, and personality to every project she touches.
